THE man BEHIND THE STORIES
I have always been drawn to the fracture.
The instant something familiar turns strange. The secret that changes every conversation that came before it. The impossible event that forces an ordinary person to reveal who they really are.
I write in English and Portuguese, blending the tension of thrillers with speculative and horror elements. Whatever shape a story takes, the impossible is never there simply to astonish. It is there to make the emotional stakes sharper, the choices crueler and the truth harder to escape.
I take inspiration from daily life, what surrounds me, what I see and hear as well as my own personal taste. Growing up I was always fascinated by unexplained mysteries of our world as well as all the mythology surrounding many of our cultures and I try to bring this into my stories.

Reading
I’m an avid reader and I’m constantly looking for the next good story to immerse myself in. I also do Beta and ARC reading for other authors.

Family
My three dogs: Kiba, Zuko and Kaito provide loyal company, questionable editorial notes and very firm deadlines. My husband is my biggest critic but also my number one fan and a big source of inspiration.
